Practical questions

Operational answers about the study, the work, and how to use it.

About the study

Who can take part in the Cancer Care Coordination Study?

The study is open to anyone working in cancer care teams. This includes and is not limited to oncologists, haematologists, nurses, pharmacists, radiation specialists, allied health professionals, coordinators, and administrators in any setting where cancer care is delivered. The study is currently open across Europe and beyond, with respondents from multiple countries and roles.

How long does the assessment take, and what do I receive in return?

The assessment takes about 10 minutes. After completing it, you receive a personalised reflection on your team's coordination capacity across the Six Dimensions, framed against patterns the study is identifying in the wider dataset. You receive this whether or not you choose to engage with anything else from Nexus Recognita.

Will my responses be confidential?

Yes. Individual responses are confidential and are not shared with employers, institutions, or third parties. Aggregated, anonymised findings will be published in academic and professional venues including ESMO and EONS contexts. No individual respondent is identifiable in any output.

How will the data be used?

The data is used for two purposes. The first is research: the study is the first cross-sectional measurement of coordination capacity across cancer care teams, and findings will be submitted to academic venues. The second is methodology development: aggregated patterns inform how we develop the Six Dimensions framework and the practical work that follows from it. Individual data is not used for commercial outreach.

About Nexus Recognita

Is Nexus Recognita a coaching company, a research organisation, or both?

Nexus Recognita is a research and methodology organisation. We study coordination capacity in cancer care teams, develop the Six Dimensions framework, and offer development work that follows from the research. The study is the primary public output. The Shift is a structured programme for individuals who want to work systematically on coordination capacity in their own setting.

Are you affiliated with ESMO, EONS, or other oncology societies?

Nexus Recognita is independent. Work has been presented in ESMO and EONS contexts, and the study has been shared with both communities. We are not endorsed by either organisation. We are open to conversations with societies, institutions, and committees who recognise this territory.

How is the work funded?

The work is self-funded by the founders. The study runs without external sponsorship to protect the independence of the data. If you are interested in supporting this work or exploring partnership, please get in touch.

About using this work in your setting

Can I use the Six Dimensions framework in my own institution?

Yes, with attribution. The framework is intended to be useful in real settings, not held behind credentials. If you are using it for an internal team conversation or a specific coordination question, that is welcomed. If you are using it for institutional training, research, or publication, please get in touch so we can support proper use and accurate citation.

How should I cite the study or the framework in academic work?

Citation guidance will be published alongside the first study findings. In the meantime, please reference Nexus Recognita and the Cancer Care Coordination Study with the URL https://nexusrecognita.com/how-we-work/coordination-study. For formal academic citation, please contact us directly.

Do you offer this as institutional training or partnership?

We are exploring institutional pathways with selected partners. If your institution, society, or committee is working on coordination capacity and would like to discuss how this work might fit, please get in touch.

If you want to see where your team stands across all six dimensions, the study takes ten minutes.
